Today the Abbona Family continues the work that began more than two centuries ago producing high quality wines meant to enrich, year after year, the history of this important cellar where modernity and tradition meet and where a great heritage of vineyards and knowledge has been passed down from parents to children for over five generations. Anna and Ernesto Abbona – the 5th generation – with his sons Valentina and Davide – the 6th generation – firmly believe in the original and distinguished wines produced in this region, characterized by a number of highly prestigious native vines and a unique soil composition, with amalgams of clay, limestone marl, blueish marl, tuff, sandstone and sand.

Arrivando ai giorni nostri, la famiglia Abbona continua l’opera iniziata più di due secoli fa: produrre vini di alta qualità, destinati ad arricchire, anno per anno, la storia di una grande cantina dove attualità e tradizione s’incontrano e dove si tramanda, da padre in figlio, un importante patrimonio di vigne, cantine e conoscenze ormai da più di cinque generazioni. Anna ed Ernesto Abbona – la v° generazione – insieme ai figli Valentina e Davide – la VI° generazione – sono profondamente convinti dell’assoluta originalità e qualità dei vini prodotti in questo territorio, caratterizzato da numerosi vitigni autoctoni di gran pregio e da una composizione dei suoli esclusiva, in cui si alternano amalgami di argille, marne calcaree, marne bluastre, tufo, arenarie e sabbie.
